Mid-century beautifully restored pieces are in my store. Every now and then I come across classical designs such as Grant Featherston. Recently I was able to place my efforts, passion and skills in restoring the Grant Featherston Contour Range 1952 B230 Chair. It is still homed in my store. This article discusses the resurrection in demand for mid century furniture pieces explaining that these are stemming from real estate renovations from the mid-century. Apartments and homes in Sydney and Melbourne are being restored rather than pulled down which was a trend in past. I enjoyed reading this article as this further supports the trend of our in-store inquiries. Majority of current inquiries are for either restored original retro furniture or custom made furniture tailored to that era.
